As the first batch of Mark II's will shortly ship to a select few, the rest of us have been quietly contemplating just what bribes must be offered up to Hugo & Rob to improve our queue position.

So let's be public about this: I hereby offer a dozen Philadelphia cheesesteaks, perhaps the finest culinary delicacy available here in the States.

Nudge, nudge, say no more....

I think the Houston crowd could gang together and send them a couple pounds of brisket from Goode Company Barbeque (along with the yummy jalapeno corn bread). That would trump the cheesesteaks, but those damn Chicago people could cream us all with their pizza bribes.

I'll offer a.....oh..wait.... I'm getting one of the 40. 8)

*runs away from the thousands of people I just angered with that comment*

I bet Rob is right now "accidentally" deleting my order.. ;)

Who else are the lucky ones getting one of the 40? Any regulars in here?

Start a new thread for each of the "First 40" to post on when they get theirs in the mail, eh?

Most of the credit cards I just charged have familiar names on them. Thanks folks, I particularly enjoy that part of the job :-)

It looks like Mark 2 players will be in the hands of paying clients on Friday, although as one of those clients lives in Cambridge he might just beat everyone else to it!

And which part would that be? (a) the names on the cards, or (b) the charging of the cards?

Yeah, and a souvenir "Bullie Bag". Built tough so they will have something to remember us by for a long time.

Well I just got my confirmation this morning

The email was sent at 2:39am, and Rob was posting to the BBS after 5am, before going home!!! Now that's the sign of a man who really likes charging credit cards

Well, Rob's in the UK... I'm in the UK... the BBS is in the UK...
But I suppose I am a bit too excited to be absolutely certain

Rob is in the Uk, the board is on Uk time, therefore there is no time difference as far as rob posting on the board at 5am... =)

Should sleep a bit more to be not too tired and stressed . One or two days don't make the big difference at this time - Or does it ....

Yes, I left around 5:30am yesterday, and was back again at 10am.

You guys had really better start stepping up these bribes to make this worthwhile! :-)

Hmmmm.....I suppose I could personally arrange for Pamela Anderson Lee to give Rob back-rubs every day at 5:30 in the Empeg offices--with the understanding she will use everything but her hands.

(I'm not a sexist, I just want my Mark II.)
