ClemsonJeep enthusiast Registered: 09/11/1999 Posts: 398 Loc: Ashburn, VA	Hey guys, I noticed that sporatically when the Mk2 boots up, the dimmer is set WAY low for the startup stuff (empeg logo, text scrolling by as linux boots). This only happens about 1 out of every 10-20 bootups, but it still happens. I don't have the auto-dimmer tied to anything. I am running 12a. rob carpal tunnel Registered: 21/05/1999 Posts: 5335 Loc: Cambridge UK	We know all about that one - it almost held up shipping of the Mk.2, but we decided it wasn't THAT serious. Hugo and Mike have been reworking the bootup display code today, with some cute new features and a fix for this problem. It'll be in consumer 1.0 - which is due for release soon! Rob
