Has anyone seen this portable before?

Looks like it's got all the features from the Nomad and then some!

Any opinions on this portable ??
It seems to be fairly new out , so i don't suppose any one has any comparison charts, etc. made yet

That to me would be the empeg KILLER APP.

Nice too, Small (like ipod), big 20GB, good sound (98db SN), fast (1394+USB), Bright future (recordable remote + FM), Downside thus far is that it has a smallish display

Err...this is Creative we're talking about here? ISTR that they have a knack for massaging their specs when it comes to SNR. Obviously I haven't heard the unit, so it may well be 98dB, but until I hear an independant analysis I'm going to take that spec with a pinch of salt.

Eg. SB Live 5.1:
Creative state:
Signal to Noise Ratio: >96 db
Noise Floor: -120dB

pcavtech.com:
SNR: 84dB
Dynamic Range: -93dB
