Since this is for Norwegians only - I'll write the post in my native langage.

Hei norske Empeg-eiere. Det hadde vært interessant å vite hvor mange norske eiere/interesserte som er registrert på disse sidene.

Er det noen der ute?

For the curious, this means something like:

Hello Norwegian Empegers,

It would be interesting to know if how many Norwegian Empeg owners / followers are registered on this board.

Are the any out there?

Yup, at least TommyE and me.

I'm of Norwegian decent. My great-grandparents emigrated from Norway to the US. I always get weird looks and "how do you say that" when people see that my last name is Bjorgen. (the juxtaposition of B and J doesn't occur in english)

now that is funny. almost as funny as my favorite thread here.

in this thread the part that gets me is yn0t's reply of

"Yeah... There's a fine line between switching visuals and getting an extra 30 lives in Contra."

Hadet.

Hmm... how's this for translation: "I've been an Empegger since I bought the MK1. That was fine until I saw an MK2 in Oslo, something something something." It's all downhill from there for me...

Hehe, well not too bad.

Here it is in English. Where did you pick up your Norwegian??

"I've had my Empegs a few years already, ever since the MKI.
I know there is one person in Oslo having an empeg as well, I used to
work at the same place as he did acouple of years ago. Can't
remember his name.

BTW: nice homepage. Had to laugh abit of the Tommy character you
described in one of your stories.

Bye

TommyE"

I'm Norwegian as well.
Right now I live in Denmark, though. Beer and house-loans are cheaper here ;-)
