Actually, this image was taken from the MAME version of Gauntlet 2. I know that other versions were produced, but that was the source of mine - I wanted to get a Blue Wizard, not Yellow... Picky.

Depends if you are counting just active posters, or all that we ever had.

1) Laura
2) Bxgurl

3) crewe
haven't heard from Sally in about seven months now

4) aouali

Sally is active on the TVR Tuscan owner's list, as she has just bought herself a second hand Tuscan to replace the MG.

Incredible! I never imagined she would sell that rare V-8 MGB, especially after all the beautiful work she did to it.

Ok, I can't believe that in 11 days, not *one* person has commented on how silly I look in that wig.

Oh well, anyone care to guess which day that photo was taken? Clue - it was taken at 6.30am on a Saturday morning at Heathrow where 3 of my best friends (also wearing wigs) had just collected me. Sometime in the past 3 years.

I going to go out on a limb and say, Man City? (just 'cos it's blue and they're the first blue coloured footie team I can think of! )

No, although we did have a Man City fan (also wearing a wig) with us the following day helping us cheer on the Underdogs.

Ok, enough already with the "What wig?" type comments. I'm still under 70, male, and haven't resorted to Blue Rinses.

In typically tardy fashion, I'll try a new one out, too.

Oh, and, Genixia, I believe we all officially give up on the wig.

I don't know if I can accept you and Tony with different avatars. I won't be able to glance so quickly to see who's writing.

So who now has the oldest avatars? I'm pretty sure I'm behind Drakino on his.

*edit*
at least you're consistent, Bitt. I have no idea what that pic is either.

Hmm. Big hints;

That photo was taken at about 7.30am one saturday morning in the car park at Heathrow airport. I had just arrived on the red-eye, and walked out of customs to find 3 of my friends looking ridiculous.

The following morning we all went to Villa Park in Birmingham to watch an underdog showdown with Liverpool in the semi finals of the FA Cup. My team, a lowly second division side, effectively ranking 60 places below Liverpool, held them goal-less for 73 minutes but eventually went down 2-1. (Hey we got a goal!). Not a bad result considering that Michael Owen's salary alone at the time exceeded the entire annual turnover of my team. And he was consistently thwarted by an ex-dustbin-man who had started when the team were non-league part-timers.
Obviously we were gutted at the end of a dream, but immensely pleased to have had it to start with. Having been a Liverpool fan in my early teens, it was great to finally see them play, and a live rendition of "You'll never walk alone" by 18000 'scousers' is very moving.
On a personal note it did mean that I didn't have to fork over more cash to fly back for the Cup Final. That weekend was expensive enough after the flights, game tickets, train fare and obligatory beers and kebabs had all been paid for.

So the starter question for 10 points is "Which date was that photo taken?", and for a further 10 points, "Which team do I support?"

Not sure why I like frogs (I mean I don't really in a psycho kind of way, although I have various toy frogs in a box in the attic and a tree frog tattooed on my calf - that's part of my anatomy, not a farmyard animal, just in case anyone thinks that would be wierd) and I guess the 51 just kind of came from Area 51.

Anyhoo - this frog is just a bit more colourful than my last one, which is nice

although in looking closely, they may have both come from the same animal biology coursework...
