Avatars can be turned off in the viewing options for those with bandwith dysfunction and those so inclined...
I think it looks pretty cool.

Thanks Michael. I'll fiddle with it some the week after next to squeeze it down some more, I don't want to be a PITA.

Zeke, I'm always entertained by your avatars. I only have POTS @ best 46.6Kand frankly 'don't mind waiting for them to load.
Keep up the good work,

I think it's funny too, but that's a little big. Of course, I'm not one to talk.
Here's one that I made:
It helps to at least make your animation the standard avatar size (in pixels, that is). That's something I wish everyone would do.

Muchas Gracias!
I was flat out yesterday and didn't have time to goof w/it and I don't have the tools at home to edit multi image .gif's. I hope you don't mind if I cop your .gif until I can fix one up myself? Thanks.

ps: re- avatar size, I thought I'd done that. 65 wide, 75 tall right?

re- avatar size, I thought I'd done that. 65 wide, 75 tall right? That's right. My guess is that you had it keep the aspect ratio when you resized it, because it was 65x42. That's fine, actually, since that's smaller than the board's avatar size. But it doesn't look as good when the board resizes it.

Argh, the file is larger than the avatar size.
Folks, everyone, please. Resize your avatars to match. Please.

Sorry about that Tony, I am not very good with pics I did resize it this time, but how are the other people ataching a file and then viewing it in the same post? The only way I can figure to do it is to attach it then see what the file number ends up being and then editing the post. I had to resize it anyway because it squished his head.

Of course, the amazing thing is, he resized the avatar with two pieces of bailing wire, some candle wax, and an old two-cycle engine he found in a shed.
(Sorry, the setup was just TOO EASY.)

The only way I can figure to do it is to attach it then see what the file number ends up being and then editing the post. Which is exactly what they do.
