Whats the word on lrcdb.com? How is it coming along? Any guess about when it will be up and running.

Well we have an non-public aplha running now, but unfortunatly production on ti has slowed down to almost a halt, The mian programmer just got a new job, so most of his efforts have be drwan to getting his new job. Im sure once he get comfortable there production will rise up again. The database turned out to be more work that we had expected, thus taking alot of extra time. Hopefully we will get it up by the end of the month.

What happened to the other guy who was gonna do some programming? (Apologies for not remembering who it was!) He already had a real good start on that other site he had...

Actually, the main reason nothing is happening with it at the moment is because one of the chips in the machine that was hosting the site fried. So instead of just replacing the chip and working with an old machine (Dual P2, Asus P2L97 board), I'm instead working on getting a replacement box (probably a dual Athlon MP, or at least an XP 1800) which I will then have to migrate everything over to, again. This will be the second time I've done this in the past month.

Yes, my new job has been taking up a majority of my free time. At the moment, I'm just happy to have a job. In another week or so my work-load will die down and I won't be spending so much time at work. Then I'll be able to ramp up on lrcdb. I really want to get the site live as soon as possible, but things keep happening to slow me down. I feel bad that it's gone this long as it has.

Me? I really haven't talked to Ricin lately so I haven't had any update. I also just started a second job so I don't have much time on my hands.
