I have a tuner module that I misplaced the antenna adapter for. If anyone has one and has no need for it, I would like to buy it. Send me a PM about it. Thanks!

I think I found it at Crutchfield here. Will this do what the thing that comes with the tuner does? It seems good.... but for $15?

I'm not sure about the connector on the end of that one, but this one will work.

I think I've got one of those in my bits and pieces box at home, it'll be friday before I can look, if nothing else turns up and I can find it, you're welcome to it - no charge - except a pint at the meet!

A pint sounds like a good deal. Let me know if you find it.

Excellent.

Yeah, and the empeg community doesn't have some of those other nasty side effects, like being turned into someone's bitch when you first join the community.

Not to hold you up, I've had a look at the tuner module behind my dashboard outside the office, the lead I have, I'm now sure, is the right socket (banana plug), but the wrong plug, it dates from the days before standardisation, about '62, I think - it's what we now use in the UK for a TV/FM plug.

Sorry.

Don't the guys at Empeg Towers know where they sourced the adaptor? - worth asking.

Even worse, this is why I originally needed it, my 1962 Christmas present!

In common with most of the empeg bits and pieces we got the adapters from Autoleads.

I'm not sure how easy it is for the general public to order from them, but their stuff is stocked just about anywhere with a car audio department in the UK.

Can't locate it on the Autoleads website, but their local dealer, who I've dealt with for years, is walking distance from here. If you like, I'll take the pertinent part round to show them and see if they can order it.

UPDATE: They're £2.50(@$3.75=1 1/2 Pints*) and they have them in stock, these are plastic coated, not as supplied with the tuner. Send me a PM with your address if you want one sent over, or I could bring it to the meet if you're not fussed for time..

*I'm only guessing, I've not had a drink since the 7th March, so I'm a little out of touch!
