It's been a long time since I've visited this board, but I wanted to drop this note.

Thank you, Empeg team.

I've owned Empeg since the Mark 1 (well, sold now.. but) serial # 288 (287?) I believe.. Since then, upgraded to mk2 modified 30gb, then to a stock mk2 60gb.

I have yet to see a car mp3 player that even comes close to the functionality of the Empeg. Sure, there's plenty of cd-based mp3 players, and a few regular mp3 players, but none of them have the features that I've grown to love on the Empeg; and certainly nothing that's made me want to upgrade yet.

Makes you think:)

Hi Mark,
good to see you back here. I hope you've been keeping up to date with hijack and any other updates.
It certainly will be a long time before anything is commercially available like this again. I don't think one product has given so few (globally) so much enjoyment for so long.
I'll add my thanks here too, to everyone who has contributed to it in so many ways
