I'm curious about the level of shock-resistance the Karma units will have. Can they handle the shock of jogging (in a pocket, belt or strapped to an arm)? How about running?

If not, how does the Nitrus compare?

Greetings!

At least two beta testers have taken them out jogging or running or lawn mowing. They note that they were more concerned about the humidity on the (prototype) plastics. Both report that it went well, but one of the two did notice a bit of skipping when it was boucing around alot. (Note: this particular unit was held in his hand while jogging, so it got moved around a bit.)

Like anything else, it is still a physical hard drive. I know that they were working on getting physical impact / vibration specs, but I do not know if they are public domain yet.

Are either (both) of those beta testers on this board???
