I bought and installed the codec offered for sale within RMM. It works with windows media player 9 but when I try to rip the same cd with RMM it stops at 97% on the first track.

Any tips ?

Also they need more file name options. I want genre/artist/album/tr# - title

I ran windows update and reinstalled media player 9 and now it works ok.

Still want more file naming options.

They're stashed in the Registry. You can add your own.

Well I thought I had it

I added:
Genre\Artist\Album\## - Title|%G\%A\%T\%# - %N

to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rio\Rio Music Manager\2.0\Encode Options\FilenameFormats

When this mode is selected in RMM I still get artist\album\## - title for the output.

Is genre something other than %G ?

I don't believe that genre is supported as a naming option. If it's not in any of the others, then it probably isn't.
