Hey All,

I want to get a 256 MB or 512 MB SD card for mp3 files and my Treo 600. I'm new to the SD card game, so I have a few quick questions...

* Have y'all ever used a Sandisk Cruzer? Not the "Mini Cruzer," this one looks like it can use SD Cards... Does it work well? Am I better off with a different device for transferring data to the card?

* Any leads on good prices for one of these?

* Anyone have one for sale?

- Thanx

treo600 also? =) so far on the board, its you, dbrashear, and me. i simply love it. the keyboard transition from the t300 was very quick for me. everything else is great, for my needs at least. warning tho. ALL SD cards stick out of the slot. i was thinking of sanding mine down. until then, i would only put it in when i need to (its only carrying mp3s, videos, and pictures anyway).

what i wanted to get is the Jumpdrive Trio so it can backup as a usb keychain drive.

Yeah, I've also been looking at the Lexar Trio as it also supports multiple card types while the Cruzer does not.

I also upgraded from the Treo 300. So far, the 600 is pretty impressive. The biggest geek thing I did was install the new LOTR ROTK trailer and Kinoma... :-)

I can't find a good deal on an SD card. Prices are VERY solid, but I can't find any rebate deals or anything... Know any?

The reason that I'm so driven to get a deal is that a buddy of mine got a 256mb from Frys for 50 bucks after the rebate. I can't find it for much less than 75.

I just looked it up and I paid $75 in Feb. Prices seem to be holding pretty well. The 512's have come down to near reasonable prices, but they're still at a premium.

heh, i was gonna do the same. biggest thing i did was install treo600sms and wow my friends w/ the chatmode window. i think imma do the kinoma thing tonight. and doing PdaNet with my boss impressed him. and oh, about the SD cards. yeah, 75 is the lowest 256, and 150 is the lowest 512. buy.com had a 24hr sale getting the 512 down to 130 recenty.
