I was leaving a great hockey game, coming from fantastic seats. Found my drivers door lock punched in and my Empeg MKII gone. I have my invoice but seem to have misplaced my Serial Number. I have seen in other posts that it can be tracked. Is this still possible?

That does suck... I believe the serial number might be on the box it was shipped in.

I can only match Empeg UK invoices to serial numbers. If you bought from the US store, or via a third party, I can't help.

It can't be tracked. However, you can send the serial number to Rob in case he gets a support call or a return-for-repair. There are other reasons they like to have the serial numbers of stolen players, but they don't involve tracking.

Anyway, old versions of the Emplode software used to prompt for the serial number at installation time and store it in the registry. I don't know which registry key it would have been in.

Sorry I guess I was a little confusing in my post. I know the actual unit cannot be tracked. I was wondering if the serial number could be looked up (and thanks for your answers). Anyway I will have a boo to see if I can find the box it came in. I bought it in the closeout sale, I think my invoice may be a UK invoice. Will check tonight when I get home. I had mine taken during the weekend of Thanksgiving, and seeing my door glass broken when i walked out of the restuarant was one of the worst feelings ever.
