Ive noticed that one of the prongs on the connector looks like it is pushed back farther than the rest of them are. Is this something I should worry about?

On the sled-end? They should all line up. I've never seen any slip back (they have a one-way clip, so should stay in) but try easing the contact forward and waiting for a "click" as it locks into place at the same level as the other contacts.

Yes I'm referring to the in car sled. The contact is connected into the serial line, and theres almost no slack in between the connector and the begining of the thick serial cable. I guess the wire never got pushed in all the way. Any ideas?
