I don't know if you've checked prices recently here or on ebay. but 600 is way too much thats over a thousand dollars. I got mine six months ago on ebay for 465

Just because the exchange rate is insane at the moment doesn't mean that UK prices should drop to match your expectation of a US price. UK prices are much harder to gauge than US prices - there aren't as many sold on ebay. In fact I just did a recent ebay search and there weren't any sold recently.
Remember that there aren't that many empegs in the UK or Europe, and importing one from the US is going to cost both in shipping and duty charges.

To help on the UK pricing comparison. I sold a 50GB mk2a for £375 just before Christmas.

So yes, I'd agree that £600 is too high.

Ok well i see the general opinion is that £600 is too much, therefore i will consider offers for this unit, i might add that the device has a brand new 60gb drive, thus leaving the second bay free for a further drive. Its in excellent condition and has all the original parts with it. So please contact me anyone who is interested.
