Anyone want to meet up for dinner this Wednesday?

Anywhere in the Bay Area would be fine with me, including San Francisco although San Jose or somewhere in the middle would be more convenient.

Argh, i dunno, that's an hour and a half drive for me after work so i couldn't get there before 7:30 and with traffic it'll probably be 8. I'll see if i'm up to it. Don't plan around me though, sounds like a good place!

Yeah, it's about 1.5 hours for me too, and I don't get off work until 7. I'll see if I can maybe leave a little earlier. I don't want to miss anything.

I'd be up for a get together in Santa Clara, particularly if Rob's bringing anything fun. Probably wouldn't make it until 7 or 7:30 either.

Would you guys be willing to look over my SSR and offer suggestions for the mounting of an empeg. I pretty much figure I need to use one of Mike's remote VFDs. If so I'll make the time to be there.
edit: If there is one (VFD) available to look over even better.

It's my son's Kindergarten graduation tomorrow and to top it off, my car is undergoing a very costly transmission repair/replacement.

Haha... no banjo. I can play a total of two four measure songs that are the equivelent of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at this point. I never played a string instrument so i'm starting from scratch. Still not sure if i'll make it.

Whats the deal with food and drink? Should we BYOB or a few bucks for supplies?

Food shouldn't be a problem - Nong has some burgers and I will stop by Albertsons and get some more stuff for the BBQ. I'll also get soft drinks, while Nong has a keg - but I think it would be taking liberties to drink all of her beer so feel free to bring some if you can.

We saw the (Censored) and the (Censored), and I demo'ed the (Censored) to the group. And we ate a lot and talked a lot.

I was glad to finally meet a few of the people from the Rio beta team after working with them remotely on the Karma. Quite cool.

Rad. I had heard those (Censored) might be there. Shoulda gone!
