damage stranger Registered: 27/11/2002 Posts: 35	has anybody tried the rebadged dell units with alternate clients? i tried it with the displayserver patch & couldn't get it to work. i had 2 other original units using the patch working fine. thanks.

wfaulk carpal tunnel Registered: 25/12/2000 Posts: 16706 Loc: Raleigh, NC US	I haven't tried displayserver, but there's definitely an issue where the rebadged Dells won't work with v1.03 software, so that might be the issue. Paul Noffke's tRio client definitely works, though. That's what I'm using at the moment, so at least some other player software will work. _________________________ Bitt Faulk

Maybe I had to boot once under 1.04 server to reflash it or something? Its the garage unit and its been cold, so i'm avoiding the garage Ed _________________________ When I shoot MY super-computer, the bullets really DO bounce off. What about yours?
