two purple lines?

Apparently there is a second purple line and the doctor confirmed it today. My wife and I will be having our first baby ... Well ... mostly my wife. Finally I get to do nothing while SHE does all the development  It's still very early, but I figure, what the heck. Virtual pink and/or blue (lavender?) bubble gum cigars for everyone.

I remember all that stuff.......but mine was 21 the other week.
Best thing is to brief your whole family not to cooo, saying doesn't he/she look like grannie/auntie/uncle on your side of the family - accept the possibility that the resemblance might be to her side, otherwise it causes friction!
Fix your mind on the simple eventuality, all newborns look like:
a. Winston Churchill
b.Nikita Kruschev
c.Frank Sinatra
No other type exists.

My first looked like Orson Welles, but then eventually looked like me from about 3 months, and then when my daughter was born, she didn't look like either parent, but was the spitting image of her brother.
Definitely reckon avoiding routine is the best way to get sleep. My two are 2 and 4 now and we just do whatever we would normally do, so they are happy sleeping at friends houses, at 8 or 11pm, chinese takeaway or pasta - very laid back indeed.
So utterly utterly rewarding (caveat - I haven't been parent of a teenager yet)
