I'd buy metal buttons too, if they fit the tsock fascia. Chrome would be great.
Also, depending on price, I may buy some metal fascias as well.

work is in progress. just getting caught up at work so I can get going on this.

also just got a newface on loan. ( thanks alvin ). So hopefully I'll be able to offer stock and newface versions.

once I get some samples made I will post pics.

I'm not sure what you have planned for the knobs but these may be useful. I've got a set of the Kilo knobs from digikey that I'm going to experiment with over Christmas. I've also got a couple of the MGW knobs on order. They have several different styles. I'll post some side by side comparison photos for the Kilo knobs.

Note! The set screw in the kilo knobs are approximately 1/4" from the end of the knob. The NewFace is 1/8". To get the Kilo knob to work, I had to remove the lower lip on the knob (~1/8") otherwise the set screw doesn't make contact.

Is it possible to drill some holes around perimeter of the knob and fill them with clear epoxy for the lighting kit?

Did this quite successfullly with good results using a 0.75mm drill at low speed.

As Rob mentioned, for both the original knob and the metal knob pictured above, yes. I like end glow fiber instead of epoxy though as it transmits light much better
