i don't understand why the mk1 gets such a better color then the mk2 2 player, i am referring to blue, the 2 is sorta teal the one is nice and dark, certainly seems it owuld be easier to read and probably look superior. Was there a functional reason for this change, is there any way to get a deeper blue?

The Mk.2 blue is a better match for blue illmuminated dashboards and, more importantly, 50% brighter than the Mk.1 screen.

The first 50 Mk.2 players shipped with a darker blue which looked nice but was almost unreadable in sunlight (and so was replaced).
