I can do it. If it's small enough I can bring it to the meet (assuming they arrive on time)

It doesn't actually say how big they are (other than them being 2x6.5 inches), but if you could do it that'd be great!

Next you'll be telling us they are for your Smart

You really will have no boot space then, what you really want to the Barbus under seat subs from Germany, never available here, and need some major mods to get them in a ForTwo, but I've heard they are worth it

Ahh Cris, don't you think I've thought of that? I've got the amp installed under the drivers seat already and I'm building a wedge shaped box to fit between the back seats and the boot. The boot will remain completely empty. Those subs are only 45mm deep.

Mmmm I thought most people in Smart land did it the otherway around, with the amp strapped to the back of the seats and the subs under the seats ???

Personally I have most of the stuff under the dash or in the foot well as access to under the seats is restricted by the fire extinguisher. Although I think I did put the Nokia and Sony Aux in boxes under there.

Do you really need more sound with the sound upgrade you have ??? I've never seen the need myself, having said that I hardly use the empeg in the car these days, mostly I listen to the Radio on the way to work though the Sony HeadUnit.

This Guy's leads may come in handy, I have one so I don't blow the tweeters, works very well.

I didn't use the facia adaptors you can get, they only did them in black or blue when I fitted mine (my dash is Grey), and as I had to butcher the ashtray drawer to do a dual DIN job I just got the dremmel to a radio blank panel from my local dealer. Looks OKish.

Yes the website said the grey version was new. Which lead did you get? My technical German isn't brilliant.

The one that is 18 Euros, it's a high pass filter, the crossover is in the radio itself when you have the sound upgrade (look for the screw in module on the top of the Smart's radio) the subs and the tweeters aer then fed off the front and rear channels seperatly. I think some of his leads combine the two, so you can run subs of the other channel, and the 85Euro one does tele mute functions.

He took ages to send mine though, and the postage was expensive if I remember right, but's it's alot cheaper then new tweeters from Smart, I heard about £150 a set, and the fitting is a removal of entire dash job

You will find most cool Smart stuff comes out of Germany. Personally I just want a cheap car to get around in that will hold it's value a little better than most others, I wouldn't go too over the top if I were you, boy racer Smarts don't sell well.

I ran in my own lomb from the battery for all my wiring, and used a relay from the ignition, I don't think the Smart's wiring is very robust, esp not for high drain devices

Mmm, one of these would be cool...

I'm not going for boy racer, I'm just not that keen on the factory stuff, or on having a double din setup.

I can't find that on his website, or anyother for that matter

That would be one upgrade I would be interested in!

I like the double DIN setup, I get the best of both worlds that way. I don't loose storage space as I have a drawer under the drivers seat.

I would get the back window blacked out if I were you, stops people peering into the boot, I have a cover but I find it a pain if I have a large bag in there, it only cost me £45, the same as the boot cover.

Is this it?

My brother bought a Smart a month or two ago, I must point him in the direction of that website. I've just bought a Primera, I prefer to be slightly further from any potential points of impact

The site that Geoff linked was one I saw it on

I've already got the amp from previous installs and I'd have to fork out for another headunit which I couldn't see myself paying less than £250 for to get a decent one.

The car came with the boot cover which I intend to carry on using. Although the plan is that I won't have anything on show in the boot, because there won't be anything in boot. I've attached a little drawing:

It occupies the wedge shaped space between the seats and the boot, nobody will know it's there.

The fourth one down is the plug for the remote on a Revox B77. I was going to pay a fortune for one and devise my own timer record function, and then a guy on ebay in Strasbourg sold me the complete remote for a tenner more: Strange, as the UK Revox people wanted to charge me £160, if, and when they could get one ( I didn't like to mention that that's about what I paid for the B77).
Had you thought of mounting the rest of your kit on a trailer? - Could be the only way to get it all in - I'm pretty clued up on trailers these days!

What makes that Bordcomputer Smart unique?
And where is it getting it's data from?

The smart has a CANbus network, so once you're on it and know what to look for you should be able to grab any data you want. I don't know what you mean by unique but it certainly shows more data than the factory display does.

Fedex says they're due for delivery tomorrow which is too late for Amersfoort. I will see if I can maybe pick them up at the Fedex warehouse today if delivery isn't attempted for some reason.
