Hello there this is my first post here I have a stack of these players here and they all seem to be doing the same thing.running version 2.0 software and when you scroll through the playlist and start on any track other then the 1st track it only recognises the track you have selected. Is this normal operation ? I spent most of last night going back through the backlog of postings and software release notes and didn't see this as being a bug is it ? thanks in advance Wilebee

Hi there and welcome to the BBS!

It sounds as though you are selecting a single track and that track is being played.
This is normal operation.
If you want the entire playlist to be played, you must select the 'arrow' (first option when entering a playlist folder).
Then the playlist will play all songs.
The shuffle option must be off in order to get 'first to last' play order.
Have fun!

What I'm trying to do start within a playlist. I have a book with over 100 tracks and I was trying to start at the track I left off with because I had listened to some music in between. So is there some setting I can change so that I can enter into the playlist from the middle and still get all of the tracks to show up ? thanks Wilebee

No, but you probably do want to use the Bookmarks feature.

I assume (correct me if I'm wrong) that you were listening to your book, decided to listen to something else for a while, then came back to the book. If you'd set a bookmark first (look for it in the main menu), you could go back to exactly the point you left off.

Has this been the way through all software revisions ?

Yes. If it were done any other way, you would not be able to select and play a single song -- it would finish that song and then play the remainder of the playlist.

All you need to do to finish your audiobook is select the entire playlist containing the audiobook, then right-arrow continually until you get to the track you want to listen to, and the player will play that track and the remainder of the playlist.
