Production car that goes 253mph. Nice.

Well, the Bristol Fighter T has a claimed top speed of 270 mph, but has a limiter at 225.

Easy enough for them to disable the limiter and send an invite to Top Gear, no?

For those who wish their kids could get a taste of the old 'why?' game...
What am I? What am I?

not for kids, though, due to an F-bomb at the end!

The seven minute Sopranos.

I was briefly addicted to the show during seasons 2 and 3, but lost HBO access for a while and never got back into it. Nice to have a "cliffs notes" version if I ever decide to watch this season.

Wow. With shows like that, it's no wonder people watching this stuff have such violent aspirations in life.

Yes, because what one chooses to watch on television obviously affects their outlook on life. I suppose men who choose to watch Sex and the City find themselves lusting after $1000 pairs of shoes as well.

You can't counter with a completely hypothetical situation.

Yup. Hopefully soon we'll all be able to live in a world where the most violent thing in the media will be stuff like "Happy Feet". Because then there won't be any violence. Because violence is caused by what we watch.

Besides, my wife got me a $1600 pair of boots (that I really wanted). Do those count? And I've never seen 5 seconds of Sex and the City. Thank God.

I'd say it depends...

Are they highly fashionable and of a quality that means they'll be worn out in a couple of
months of use and make a cobbler mutter something about "unrepairable garbage"
in the unlikely chance of you trying to get them repaired (as you could still stomach the
thought of being spotted wearing them though they're no longer "in")?

Or are they something that, given a little care, can be repaired over and over and be with
you the rest of your life- and then inherited by your grandkids?

And do they make your feet hurt when walking the shortest distances?

No no... Extremely high quality alligator tail boots. They'll last QUITE a long time as long as I take care of them. My snakeskin's are in the shop now getting resoled, and they only ran $400 or so. So yeah, I plan on keeping and wearing them for quite a few years to come. In fact, until two years ago, I still had the first pair of boots I ever owned, and I'd had them ~15 years. The only reason they're gone now is that they sat under water for a week after Katrina.

As to comfort, nothing can beat a really good pair of boots for comfort. I pretty much wear boots every day. And when I say boots, I mean cowboy boots, just to be clear.

Saab, Alfa, MG, and Fiat.
here's all three!

note: multi part vids on youtube, bit of a drag to find all the parts, but worth it.

Aside from their gratuitous use of copywrited movie scores (Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, Crimson Tide, etc.), it was a fun short film.

I noticed a bit of music at the beginning from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, too.
