I have a Mk1 1 player (Serial number 264), that I want to give away. I haven't powered it up in years, and want to give it a good home rather than scrapping it.

I'd love to take it off your hands, I'd take great care of it.

I already have a Mk 1 in my collection, so if there is someone who would like to add a Mark I to their collection, they'd probably be a better home for it.

You shouldn't destroy a Mk1 just for the display. Displays are reasonably attainable by themselves.

By display are you refering to the VFD, or the entire board? If it is just the VFD, that is REALLY easy.

If nobody else wants it, I'll be happy to add it to my empeg collection.
No intention to dismount it, but just to keep it, and possibly put it on a shelf so that I can admire an MK1

Number 264 is now in my possession and booted perfectly. I think it'll find a new home as the Office Empeg as I've just moved into my own non-shared office.

Thanks Carl!
