My friend Alessandro (Dagolar on this board) had his car broken in, two days ago. He kept his empeg in the trunk, and that, together with other personal stuff, was stolen. Thieves also removed the sled and the din adapter from his brand new Focus.

In case you see this empeg (# 10101747) on eBay, that's the stolen one.

This is very unfortunate. Again, have we said this before? Never leave your empeg in your car.

(For the record, this is a unit I bought for Alessandro from Archeon on this board, last October).
