brianboru new poster Registered: 17/05/2006 Posts: 7	A few of you guys helped me out a few months back with some questions about my empeg. I bought one back during the fire sale a few years back and loaded a few songs on it, but never really got around to installing or using it. Anyway, I finally listed it for sale on ebay today if anyone's interested. S/N is 120001125. I took a guess at a buy-it-now price. Hope I'm not coming in too cheap. I'm not sure what protection options are available through ebay, so we'd have to work out the details on the side. And thanks for checking, but I did have a buy it now amount, and it looks like someone bid on the auction, so it went away...

I'm not the seller, but I can tell you from experience that international buyers have been nothing but trouble for me on ebay. I sold an explicitly broken laptop on ebay, shipped it to Sweden only to have it returned because the address provided by the buyer was insufficient. I reshipped it at my expense, only to have him complain about the condition of the laptop. I sold a underwater strobe to a guy in england, only to have him want to be compensated because he hadn't read my explicit instructions to check and make sure the strobe would work with his camera before purchasing. This was exacerbated because he wanted me to cover shipping both ways back to the US manufacturer, and the upgrade. I bought a GPS antenna from a guy in Spain because it was the cheapest one available, and he seemed to regularly ship to the US. It never showed up after multiple emails. On top of all that, you've got to make a special trip to the post office for international shipments, instead of dropping them off at the neighborhood drug store or having them picked up. I'm not saying all international transactions aren't worth it (My sister still uses the D60 on a weekly basis) but I've had a lot more trouble with them compared to domestic transactions and I can see not wanting to deal with it on ebay. I too have had my share of issues in the past with international shipments, and at one point in the past, while very frustrated, set my profile on ebay simply to not ship overseas.
