Had some network problems recently and DL'ed and ran a nifty tool called Network Probe (free v0.4). Got my problem straightened-around but in the process I noticed that my RioCentral appears to be "broadcasting" some amount of traffic onto the network. Here are a couple of datapoints from the logs:
riocentral|192.168.1.110|broadcast|255.255.255.255|27|2349|Sat 13:14:36|Sat 13:18:57
riocentral|broadcast|ether.IP.UDP.unknown (18678)|6|438|Sat 13:14:36|Sat 13:15:26
The .110 address is the RC's. Is this normal, to-be-expected, not-to-worry traffic out of an otherwise completely silent-and-in-standby Central? While I have one RioReceiver client, thus "Serve Receiver Units" is checked, I do NOT use the Central to serve the unit its IP address.
Just a little surprised by this I guess--can anyone confirm is OK...
