To summarize, the choices are: a barbecue on July 28th or August 4th, or something of variable scope August 18th-19th in Monterey to coincide with the classic car weekend. They're not necessarily mutually exclusive, so if you're interested in a BBQ and cars, make sure to note that in your reply.
