As some of you may be aware there was a cock up with the shirts at this years meet. This lead to having them all re-printed, and this in turn has left me with a few spares. This is due to the manufacturer for the 2nd time getting the order wrong and shipping the wrong numbers of some sizes.




They are all from the new batch, which I have tested and the screen print stays put

I have a small number of L and XXL size shirts left over. I am going to make them available to all members here. The shirts themselves will be free, as the cost has been met by the meet itself, but I would like to make a donation to a good cause/charity. Not sure what yet, but I'll inform you where the money has gone once I have a total.

Postage will be at cost as follows...

I think I need to clarify the payment for these shirts. I appear to have confused some people.

They are too good just to give away, so here's how it works...

Postage + Donation = Polo Shirt

Postage + No Donation = No Polo Shirt

I think this is a fair ask, you can give as much as you like, all I ask is a reasonable sum for a shirt of this type. I won't be making an profit from this exercise, but it doesn't feel right giving away something that people attending the meet in effect paid for

Thanks again for posting the fixed shirt all the way over the pond to me. It looks great. I appreciate the effort and expense. Just a small example of the good work which went into a fun weekend of seeking and geeking with the guys. Thanks again.

I thought this would be a good time to tell everyone where the money went.

As you will know a certain BBS member made a very kind gift to Rob, there was a cost in getting this equipment over to this side of the pond, and after much research I couldn't really find a charity to give the £120 we raised with the sale of the shirts (I don't like organised charity that skims off at least 50% of everything you give).

There was a freight bill and import tax and duty to pay, so I put the money directly towards that. I am still waiting on the financial paperwork to turn up, but it's all gone through my Visa so I can provide paperwork if anyone wants to see it. I hope there aren't any major objections to that decision.

I would like to thank you all again for giving so generously and I hope you enjoy your shirts
