Given that the SDHC card is designed to transfer data from the card to a remote computer, rather than the other way around, I can't see how it is going to work ?

That's why I said "project".

I'm sure it can be hacked to send/receive something other than just pictures. The key is that there is a wireless transmitter in the SDHC card. It's also a very small in memory size but I think you could probably hack the card to do file transfers in either direction.

essentially the same thing, at least for Mark 2/2a, and much easier to deal with (where is even the CPU on the Eye-Fi? in the Atheros part? good luck with hacking that).
