I think so. The model info is: HP Model: ND2505823A. I have no use for it, been sitting in my junk pile for about 7 months since I got it. I would just as soon swap it for something, as I really don't have any use for it. Still trying to pay of medical bills so paypal not refused either!

Looks like it would work in a number of HP Fibre storage boxes, not sure about compatibility in other SANs though. Depends on how fussy the systems are about the firmware on the drive.

The other number that will help more is the spare part number, it's usually a 6 digit dash 3 digit sequence, IE 123456-B21, and that tends to be the number referenced in compatibility charts and for replacement.

HP Part Number P/N: 359669-001. Does that sound right? If not I can email a picture of the label.
If no one wants this thing, I can strip it for the platters and magnets. I'd rather not waste it, if someone has a use for it.

If nobody here wants it then I'm sure that somebody on eBay would want it.

That looks like one of the numbers. I forgot how confusing HP's setup was for parts, 364437-B22 and 366022-002 are also related somehow.

Looks like it works in the EVA 5000 series machines for certain in the carrier it comes with.

Ok, no carrier, just the drive. I'll hold it until about 3pm MST tomorrow (Thursday) before I hack and trash it.

You could always get a T-card and a Fibre Channel Adapter (cheap on Ebay) and use it. Fibre Channel at home- that could be a fun project.
