If you purchased a Rio Car during the month of June, you may be a little upset by the price drop in July. This has been discussed elsewhere and I won't repeat the points that I made previously.

I would, however, like to offer a free tuner module and carry case to clients who purchased a new player during June. To take advantage of this offer please email [email protected] with your name, address, contact phone number, player serial number and date of purchase. When the tuner is released - expected later this month - we will send a module and a carry case to you free of charge.

Regards

Rob

Rob,

I don't believe anyone that says your a real hardcase - obviously this is not the case - a big softy!

Another great gesture from the folks at empeg/Rio! What an awesome team!

a free tuner module and carry case

How many carying cases has empeg actually sold? You gave cases away for MK1 upgraders, for a while last year, and at the US meet. And now this offer.

And through that marketing survey a while ago. Somebody suggested that Rio now has a lot of empeg-branded cases that they don't really need. But still, they could sell them as collector's items and charge even more if they wanted.

Anyway, all I can say is - wow! They've done it again.

At least one, because I ordered a black one when I ordered my empeg.

BTW my empeg is back in working order after what was probably a short from the display. Strange thing is when they got it back in the UK they said it worked fine. I tried several times on Ac and DC power to get it to work again. They remounted the display anyways and it's functioning perfectly now... *knock on wood*
