Also in the player, having [output] notify=1 in config.ini causes the machine to constantly reboot after kernel install. Here is the link

Sorry, you've already got that one in there as #1119, I just missed it. I guess it helps that we found the a source of the problem though. Someone mentioned just now that you guys might be dropping notify support anyway, I wonder if that's why it's freaking out?
