Today weird thing happend. The music was playing and i wanted to skip a track. Suddenly empeg refused responding to any remotes (i have kenwood card and steerng wheel remotes), and it allso didn't respond to front buttons. Reboot solved the error.

I too had this happen today... and rebooted to fix it. Then later this afternoon the Rio Remote just stopped working all together, but the Kenwood worked just fine. I even switched the batteries... same thing. Rio no Kenwood yes. Reboots didn't solve the problem. I'm going to mess with it some more tomorrow and see if it resolves iteself, if it's kernel related, or what.

The same bug has happened again twice in one day. I don't see any relation to any behaviour. The player was playing normally when it started to ignore remotes. Again reboot solved the error. I don't have Rio remote so i don't know wether it ignores that more often.

Welp, my Rio Remote is officially dead. I downgraded to 1.03, swapped batteries and everything. Kenwood still works fine. *sigh* What more can go wrong. I've got caps dying and who knows what else =].

I emailed [email protected] and was told to email the US support guys, which i finally found by going through SB's insanely weird support web site system, which lands you on DiamondMM's site. I filled out a form on that site, which gave me an auto response that had nothing to do with my initial question, and i replied to that and am now in an email queue to be answered in a few business days. Gees. All i want is a working Rio Remote.

Just ignore that, email [email protected] and tell them you need a replacement remote control. They must have thought that your remote was DOA because that's the only instance in which the US eStore would deal with the problem - but since remotes are out of stock in the US they wouldn't be able to help you anyway.
