Anyone know what voltage the RCA outputs are on the MkII? I tried to hook my Empeg up to a home stereo that has 2.5v inputs and had major distortion going on... When I turned the Empeg way down...I could limit the distortion but had no volume. I'm pretty sure its a voltage mismatch. Anyone know?

car-sled outputs are 4v, home outputs are 1v.

You sure you didn't plug it into the PHONO input?

Positive. Its a Meridian system. It doesn't have phono inputs. B-) It has digital and analog inputs that are adjustable from a range of 1 to 2.5 volts. However, at 2.5 volts, the problem should not have been distortion I wouldn't think..

Was the distortion present on all songs or just on one song?

If you were running 2.0b3, perhaps you were encountering the known bug where some songs get overdriven.

Also remember that the home loudness and EQ settings are different from the car. If you crank the loudness or boost the EQ, it might clip. Check that.
