I have 8 albums by one artist in playlists of that artist. And I put the sub playlists (Album names) in the order of year released. Everything looks good in emplode, but when viewed on the player it puts all these playlists in alphabetical order.

How can I get around this? Or is it bug?

The ordering on the player is purely presentational. If you were to select the artist (ie including all the sub lists) without shuffling, you'd get the albums played in order. The entries in the playlist is presented the way they are so it's easier to use the alphanumerical buttons on the remote to 'skip forward' in a large list. There was, for the 1.0x versions, a hack available to set if you wanted this behaviour or strictly go by the ordering set in emplode. I'm not sure if this is available for the 2.0b3 version.
I think it went by the name menusort, try a search for that.
Oh well, did it myself... It does seem to be available for 2.0b3, and it'll probably be integrated in the next beta to be released.

I'm not sure Menusort will be in the next beta or not... Menusort was created by some nice Empeg owner...not by the manufacturer...

Well I haven't applied that menu sort thing yet :) I'll wait a bit for the next beta.
