Added support for COM3, COM4. Also, if you use HTTP, you can specify a port like 'ip:port', otherwise it defaults to 80. Get it at http://www.heathcosoft.com/empeg

When I reselect HTTP, the hostname field is blank. Without a cancel button, I'm forced to retype the hostname otherwise it gets blanked out. Am I doing something wrong or is that just how it works?

Just how it works. Why would you keep reselecting HTTP? It automatically stores your settings so you shouldn't have to anyway..

I'm upstairs and my empeg is downstairs so I was checking to make sure the setting took. I was a bit concerned when I went back and it was gone. I tried typing a bogus address to see if I'd get an error message. While playing with it, I then mapped "c" as my hotkey for play (yeah, I use Winamp a lot). When I was writing my last post, I tried to type "reselect" and got an error message from EmpegTray about not being able to connect to 1.1.1.1. Obviously, this was my own fault because it was doing exactly what I told it to.

Hi nice work !!!

i use mark II with v160.hijack.v200b8.mk2.zImage and your 1,03 version over http.

I would suggest to put separator for the functions to separate them by themes. (playing controls, volume, visual, menu) and possibly putting icones on the left edge of the menu (not important but help with the quick look everybody knows the icone language but it's not the same for english).
I would reduce the volume increment, +-10dB is to much :-( i would say cut it in half or simply allow adjustment of the number of dB to change by a setting :-)
Play and pause do the same for me so why not put play/pause on the same line ?

Anyway those are only thoughts ....

And that give me an idea for another feature request:

Showing current hotkey settings in the menu next to the functions they're bound to.... like the Edit menu in most programs says Ctrl-X next to Cut. That way clicking on the tray icon to see the popup menu is a quick refresher on what all your hotkeys are (since it's tedious to go through all of them in the Setup Hot Keys window to remind yourself what they are).

Another minor cosmetic thing would be to have the HTTP hostname dialog start with the focus in the text field. As is, after opening the box, it needs a tab first before entering the hostname.

I'll add both those features... the menu hotkey thing I was planning on doing...
