Any chance of making the next batch of tuner modules DAB compatable. Somebody has posted in the Off-Topic section about the wavefinder PC DAB rec. and it got me thinking.

What you need to note is that it's currently being difficult to get a new batch made, and that's without any additional engineering being put into the effort; just running the same process that already exists through the manufacturing process again. Any additional engineering would probably make the whole idea of a new tuner run unfeasible.

That being said, if you know how to do it, lay out some schematics and get hopping.

No chance at all, a DAB tuner is hugely complex - even with a pre-made (expensive!) module there's a lot of software needed.
