I am using a Mk I with 2.0 and I get connection timed out all the time. I can upload one song at a time (most ofthe time) but if I try to upload more than one song or if I try to create one of the wendy filter, I get a connection timed out after about 1.5 second. Then I can't do anything until I close Emplode and unplug the empeg.

I love 2.0 so far but without the ability to upload songs it doesn't help. Has anyone had this problem with their Mk I?

Thanks.

John

Enable logging in emplode, then zip up the log and send it to [email protected].

I get the same thing on a MK2a. USB doesn't see a player, or can't connect. If it does connect, I try to resynch the DB and it times out, or it times out using serial.

How many connects (serial, usb, ethernet) are you using? When I'm using emplode with all three activated in the tools menu, it falls over frequently during syncs. With only one open, it appears to work without problems. Worthwhile to try, I think.

I had the same think on my MKI with USB. The computer running WinXP.
Switched to one of my other computers running Win98SE, everything OK.

This happened with both USB and serial. Thing XP is the problem.

Nah - it's not OS. We're seeing a lot of "connection timed out" errors, under all flavours of Windows/connection method. Richard thinks he's fixed it, tho'.
