My clock always reads as HH:MM:SS. I don't find the seconds display very useful, and it takes a split-second longer to read the clock when driving. Is it possible to display a plain ol' American clock sans seconds?

Sure, go into Time Format under the Settings menu and change it to whatever you like.

When I do that, it still displays seconds.

Talking of the clock, mine shows HH:MM, but the last M is only showing for about 80%. The rightmost part is cut off. Anybody else having this?

That's the clock visual -- I think the others are talking about the clock time mode (where the elapsed time goes). We know about the truncated clock visual.

Time Format appears to select 12 Hour vs. 24 Hour format only.

Time Format appears to select 12 Hour vs. 24 Hour format only.

Yes, which means:

(1) I have a super duper special version of the software custom made for me which enables customization of the time display

or

(2) I was thinking of the "date format" setting when I posted, and didn't realize that you are correct, there is no way to customize the time display beyond 12/24 hour display. Looks like you're stuck with seconds until they decide to fix it.

Sorry for the misleading info.

Maybe the guys with broadband don't notice, but I'm only using a modem (the best modem around, but still a modem). Your profile image isn't a thumbnail. It's a 50KB picture of some peroxide T&A (mostly A). If your're going to include a pic, whatever it is, please cut it down to the proper thumbnail size. Save it as a JPEG with no more than a 50% setting (you won't need anything higher for that small size).

Thanks -- this amazes me that no one else has been bothered by this. The clock is harder to read when it looks lik a timestamp or something. I have very keen peripheral vision, and the seconds changing bothers me when driving. I submitted this as an enhancement request/wishlist item.

I was thinking just the same thing yesterday when I finally added a disk and went to 2.00b11 from 1.03. The clock is nice, but the seconds are distracting. Maybe it's just a VehiCROSS thing.

For some reason I find the seconds less distracting on the track time than the clock.

Of course, now I want both the clock and the track time.....

Can the clock display be on the left side hh:mm only and still have the track time on the right side? That would be ideal for me. Maybe even have the clock portion at different intensity for easier viewing, it could even move a couple pixels every few minutes to prevent burn-in.

What's with all this "good 'ol American" stuff? This product was designed, built and is being supported in the UK. That's like buying a Jaguar and saying "well since Ford Motor Company owns you now, can you give the XJ12 some good ol' American cup holders for my Slurpie?"

Personally, I would like to request that seconds remain and that we also get frame and feild display. I work in Video and would love timecode!

j/k btw, I would like this, but I DO realize I'd probably be the only one.

I agree. When running in Info: Line mode, it would be great if the clock display on the lower right side didn't include seconds. This would provide more room to see the Artist and Title or add the track time to the left side.
