I'd really like to get an icecast server running on the empeg - I searched the forums, and found someone managed to do this in 2000 - unfortunately, they seem to have stopped posting/reading the group.

Anyone know what I'd have to go through in order to get it running (i'm not even talking about getting it to stream what the empeg is playing - just to stream a file I give it would be a good start, although the current mp3 is what I would eventually like)?

(Yes, I know I can use Hijack/Displayserver to stream any file from the empeg - that's not that point )
