Hello,

I seem to have a problem where Emplode hangs (as well as Win 2k) when using it via Ethernet. The player is properly configed with an IP, and it does commincate with Emplode for a while via ethernet before hanging.

On USB everything seems fine. My ethernet drivers/config should be ok, as I have the latest drivers from 3COM and other network programs always work smoothly.

Any thoughts?

Setup:

Empeg Player (1.02 Developer)
Emplode version 1.02
10/100 Ethernet switch
10/100 3COM ethernet card in PC (Running at 100)
1.2Ghz AMD Thunderbird PC, 512 MB RAM, running Win 2k

If your card has drivers in the build, I would suggest going back to them instead of 3com's drivers. worth a try.
I assume you mean that the OS hard hangs, not just the desktop (i.e, you can move your mouse, for example)
I use a 3c905 myself. I just bought a switched hub, so maybe i'll hit it too :)
