Is there any timeline for the hopefully upcoming relaunch of empeg store (as part of the rio store)?
I mean, when will we europeans be able to buy a carry-case or a new faceplate, or an upgrade for the harddiscs or a spare mounting cage again? (Let alone the AM/FM tuner module.)
And I would really like to buy a "Boostaroo Personal Amplifier" as well (as I guess this would make "big" headphones work on the empeg line-out). Its a real shame that the rio/sonic blue online store only sells to USA and Canada.

We couldn't be doing more than we are doing to move this forward. In particular, Steve (who now appears to be a rather senior business development type person at Rio, way to go ) has been pressing for the European store to open for the last several months.

Everyone at Rio wants the store open - the problem appears to be logistical with the company that will run the store. I know we're hopeful for a resolution around the end of this month, but you know how dangerous is it to start quoting dates so I'll just say watch this space and I'll post updates from time to time.

Why would the European store need to be separate? You (empeg) handled all orders from a single location, and so do most suppliers. Any idea why Rio wish to have a dedicated US site and a site for the rest of the world?

Not that it matters, but will this imply that non-US orders will continue to ship from Cambridge??
