Rob,

Bearing in mind I ordered them about three hours ago at the 510 price, I assume that thiswill be changed accordingly without me having to do anything?

Cheers

Correct. Any pending orders that haven't already been charged (which is everything ordered since Thursday) will be adjusted to the new price.

Customers who ordered (and have been charged) within the last 30 days can apply for a rebate, as discussed in other threads.

Not only am I in work tomorrow, I'm also in work right now. Before I go I'll import the orders we have so far and adjust the prices where necessary. I'm going to leave the actual processing for the admin guys after xmas, and I'll only email someone if there is a problem.

I think it's very unlikely we've sold out yet, as most people will have been put off from ordering until the price was updated.

If you are still thinking about getting a player from the International store, it looks like you'll have to get a move on...

I spoke too soon - we're now totally sold out of 10GB players, and I believe 20GB models will also sell out tonight.

NB This only applies to the International store - I have no idea what the US stock situation is.

Those who ordered 10GB models that we can't supply have been emailed, and given the opportunity to change to a different model if they wish.

I take it the Sold out message is automated?

I ordered seconds before the message appeared, so I hope I don't miss out... =)

Right, I've imported all of the intl orders up until about 10 mins ago, and have emailed everyone affected by the lack of 10GB stock.

The store guys are in on Thursday and Friday for charging cards, but units will not ship until the following week.

Merry Xmas!

I don't suppose there's anything you can do about the fact that the US store site will only respond to my order form with "We're having problems processing your order"? :(

Sorry, I have no involvement with that store.

I assume you're using a common browser with SSL capability?

Yep, I've tried Netscape and Mozilla. Earlier today it would get all the way through the order but failed when trying to process the credit card (probably because of all the weekend shopping - it's been hit-or-miss all weekend for me) but now won't even get to the "put your shipping information here" page. :(

Err, so, if the store site is broken, can you say if there is there *any* way I can place an order for one of these things or am I just SOL?

Pretty much out of luck until the problem is fixed. I don't think it can be a universal problem - nobody else has mentioned this, and the SONICblue store is always busy. It's not realistic to expect anything to be done about it today - only us idiots in the UK go into work on the Sunday before xmas

I would expect that Digital River will have people in tomorrow, though. If there's a server problem they should pick up on it.

Yep, I've tried Netscape and Mozilla.

Ummm... have you tried a generic Windows PC with Internet Explorer 5.x?

Greetings!

I just got in. It is listing the 10GB as "out of stock", but we all know how accurate that reading is... I got through up to the credit card number page (I already ordered two and two tuners, and even I do not need another beyond that)... Hope that helps...

As of this morning the International (empeg) Store is sold out of 10GB and 20GB players. I have also suspended ordering of 30GB players as our 20GB stock was greatly over-subscribed (unfortunately the online store doesn't include real time stock control).

If most of the customers who ordered 20GB players after they had sold out choose to take a 30GB instead, then those will be all sold out. If not, 30GB players will become available to order once again after Christmas.

60GB players are still in stock.
