Or can I wait?
I dont really need one now, as I only have one car. But if I move out of the city in a year or so and need to buy another car will I be kicking myself for not having gotten a spare sled?
Are they all going to vanish without a trace?
Are they going to drop in price? ;-)

What do you guys think?

Not wishing to sound like being patronising but you can take the sledge out of the car you know or do you mean get a second car.

Thats what I meant.

What you should have done was bought a new 10GB empeg the other day. Then, for $199 plus shipping, you would have had that $130 sled, the $29 remote, the $30 power supply and a $10 USB cable. Oh, you'd also have a free serial cable, serial adapter and 10GB empeg to play around with. :)

There should be plenty of spare sleds available according to all reports. At $130 a piece I don't think they're in danger of being sold out real soon.

Heh, if you factor in the price of the serial cable, the car player has a negative price.
