Mine seem to have a lot of give (vertically) is this intentional? I initially thought it may be the cause of the interferece I was getting. (which i later found to be caused by mains adapter!)

Mine give (vertically) a little too. Don't think there's anything wrong with mine though.

The RCA jacks are right on the corner of the board, away from the support from the screws, so can move about quite a bit. Avoid moving them too much, as there are very thin tracks running to them that can break.

be careful!!! I've heard that they can BREAK OFF. I couldn't find the post where this was mentioned..... sorry
