I need all your help in "color matching" a lens for my new car.

I just bought a 1999 VW Passat, which has the great looking blue and red dashboard lights.

I was wondering if anyone with a similar VW has outiftted their Empeg with an aftermarket lens, and which ones match the best with the red colors of my dashboard.

I'm leaning towards the red only because it seems like they are more easily visible in the daylight. EDIT: Ok... looks as though that was a flawed idea... how about any BLUE lenses that closely match the Volkswagen dashboard/LCD screens??!

THANKS!
-Germ

Red is never going to be more visible in the daylight. The other end of the spectrum (blue to green) will be.

From some other posts, it seems like Medium Lavender might be the closest match. I have one at home that I will try when I have installed the Empeg in my car (a Golf IV, same lighting) when I get home late this week.
