Oh yes :)

Actually, Roger (+ other half) came with us (myself & Chloe) too. Lots and lots of good music, and a lot of sun too!

It looked absolutely superb on TV, so I'm jealous. Maybe next year.

The last time I was there, Slade (of all people) turned up unannounced at the last moment and did one of the best sets I've ever heard from any band. One of the wettest, muddiest camping weekends I have experienced. When I got home, I made the mistake of leaving the tent in the car overnight, and nearly passed out climbing into the car to go to work the next day (which was of course, bright and sunny).

Moral of the story: never leave your wet tent to ferment on the bedpost overnight

Yep, we (myself and other half) had a cracking time. The weather held out, and the music was superb. We also checked out a bunch of the cabaret stuff - mostly jugglers and stuff, but there were some great comedians there, too.

It was my first time at Glastonbury (though not to a festival), but I'll definitely go again next year.

The only problem being, of course, the lack of sleep before returning to work on Monday morning. Fortunately, there's chocolate-coated coffee-beans in the fridge at empeg, so I was wired enough to survive Monday.

Oh, and the toilets weren't nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe.

Hmmmm - what can I do to convince my new job to put these on tap?

Save the whales. Feed the hungry. Free the mallocs.

Actually Roger only brought them in last week. We've never had them in the fridge before.

They look nice next to the Red Bull, I think they should stay.

Soon we'll have to require our staff to sign blood pressure disclaimers!

I'd do you a swap for a couple of slabs of root beer, but the postage would be waaaaaay too much. I think I'll have to wait until I'm back in the UK and go to CostCo.

Nick.

Reminds me of when Hugo opened a computer shop several years ago - first thing we imported from the US was Jolt Cola :-)

When we were in San Diego for the mp3 conference, there was a huge amount of red bull in the local liquor store. I was looking for shower gel (no, really!), and so passed on it.

I've heard that California can do that to a man.

You've got a source of these things in Cambridge?
My stock of caffeinated peppermints has nearly run out :(
For the good of all humanity, share the source!?!
