So, the tuner module will have a connector for the Sony control stick. That raises some questions for me:
1.- Which controller, particullarly? because there's more than one, you know... there's the one that begun it all, the RM-X1S, for example. Or the RM-X2S, the one John Lambon designed a serial interface for... Also there's the RM-X4S , I own one of those. My doubts are, Sony states that they are not equal, at least on their capabilities (it seems that on the outside they are identical), because they are not compatible with the same head units.
Which one will be able to control the Mk.2? Anyone knows?

2.- And how about the software for this controller? when will it be released? On 1.1? Which functions will be available ?

I don't really think it matters. The type of controller could be selected in emplode (once this feature is implemented) as easily as any other setting. It's just a matter of the different control codes in software being enabled.

There hasn't been any noise from empeg about it though

I don't think, therefore I am not.

1.03 will have basic support for the current model (the wired one, not the new IR one) - I can check the model number tomorrow, or you can search for it on here. It's the only wired one currently available as far as I know.

We're having one fitted to our demonstrator tomorrow, I'll post some pics.

RM4XS is what we've tested with, though I believe the RM2 is compatible.
