I am having a problem syncing with the USB

This is with a MK1 with the latest version player software and latest emplode

The problem is if I take too long messing around in emplode when I try to sync it freezes at initializing

I have left it for up to an hour and it doesn't change the only way to stop it is to kill emplode

if I use the serial port it works fine

the computer I am using is a P3 500 BX chipset running windows 2000

if anyone has a suggestion or has the same problem please post

it appears the problem people were having in that thread was emplode locking up when loading a large number of files or after the transfer has started

when my problem occours it doesn't get to transfering it stops at initalizing and it happens if I have emplode open for too long and then try to sync

Capture a log file from emplode (Tools|Options|Troubleshooting), and send it to me ([email protected]). Include a brief description of the problem -- I've got a memory like a goldfish.
